So I decided to upgrade my Dell XPS 8300 processor from a I5 2300 to an I7 2600 and after switching in the I7 my computer would start but not get past the intial loading screen.
So I switched back in the I5 and now it too does the same thing. I'm running Windows 7 and I'm not entirely sure where to go from here. I was under the impression that I could change one for the other and it wouldn't be too big a deal.
