CPU Upgrade / Fan

I currently have an I3 7100 with an Intel stock cooler. I just recently purchased an I7 6700k and it does not come with a stock cooler. Would it be okay to use the Intel stock cooler on my I7 6700k? I would just remove the thermal paste and put more on the new I7 then put the cooler down. Any suggestions? Thanks!

No it's not sufficient to cool the 6700k.

What cooler should I get? Preferred air cooler that i can just put it easily without pulling out mobo.

AIR Coolers that are designed to just plug into the board , generally don't provide good cooling. What case? What board?

I have a Z170-AR and a corsair carbide spec-02. Why can't I use the stock cooler? I don't care about the temps as long as they aren't too high.
