I'm currently running my personal computer with an i5 2500k @ 4.2GHz and a 6GB GTX 1060, plus 8 gigabytes of 1333MHz RAM.
I'm planning on building a new setup to run the GTX 1060, in order to get better performance ondaily tasks. I'm an architect, so my main concerns are 3d modelling and rendering on Revit, drawing on AutoCAD and editing images and videos on Adobe suite software. However, I also do some sporadic gaming
mainly GTA V and driving simulators.
What is the best CPU + MOBO + RAM I can get for 500 US dollars?
Thanks.

Solution
Price/performance, AMD is a very good option these days, especially for rendering. Also current socket is set to last through 2020, and Intel most likely will require something new, for their next gen. Ryzen 3000 will be out later this year. Fastest AMD you can get, for that kind of budget, though the 1700 will still do far better, than that 2500k, in rendering especially. Also gives you better game support, for multi-threaded titles.
