Is there an equivalent or better chip for this upgrade
Thank You

(hope this is not a double post - the first post did not have a category)

Why are you looking to upgrade this chip? This is an older laptop, but if it's running slowly the first options I'd look at are re-installing Windows or even swapping out a newer HDD or SSD, possibly adding a bit of RAM as well. If the use is for gaming or other things beyond the range of this older model, don't waste your time and money and save for something more modern.

The reason is for the experience and low cost. The chip is about $25 and that is a very cheap upgrade plus maxing out the memory. I am looking for a better and cheaper chip. I don't play games, just use it for transferring reference material.
