CPU upgrade for Dell Inspiron 15 N5040

Hi guys, I was wondering, if I could upgrade my Pentium P6200 to anything better.
CPU socket - Socket G1 (PGA 988)
BIOS flashed to A05
Chipset - Intel HM57 express

I've seen some Core i3/i5/i7 processors with the same socket, but I'm not sure if they're compatible with my laptop.

With your system being a laptop I would not count on being able to upgrade the CPU. I guess if you can find a spec sheet on your laptop and see what the best CPU they offered was and find one of those, maybe you'd get lucky. But I would say don't bother.
