CPU upgrade for HP Touchsmart 600-1352 desktop pc

Currently the processor in my computer is P6100 dual core with the socket rPGA989. I want to replace this CPU with I7-720QM Quad Core CPU. I looked at several websites and they all list PGA988A as the socket for I7-720QM. My question is: is I7-720QM compatible with the socket rPGA989? There is also some confusion: the HP site lists socket 1156 for P6100. Are 1156 and rPGA989 mean the same thing as for as the sockets go?

If I recall correctly, rPGA989 is the laptop/mobile socket, which has a pin-grid socket rather than the land grid array that desktop sockets use.
