CPU upgrade for livestreaming?

Hi, last fall my son built a budget gaming PC:
CPU: i3-4150 3.5Ghz
MB: MSI Z87M-G43 micro ATX LGA1150
Memory: crucial ballistix sport 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3-1600
video: sapphire radeon R9 270 2GB dual-X
power supply: EVGA 600B 600W 80+ bronze certified

He wants to livestream using xplit or OBS and needs a CPU upgrade. Which i5 would be best (no OC necessary)? is the R9 270 card going to up to the task or should an upgrade be planned there as well? He's going to add the Avermedia C985 Live Gamer HD card also (we know for livestreaming it's just passing the input stream to the capture/streaming software), hence the CPU upgrade.

The cheapest i5 he can get would be "best". Get a 4440.

If you have a microcenter, the i5-4590 is a good deal.

It's still a good deal otherwise, but not as jaw dropping price.
