Hi,
I plan on upgrading my GPU from Gigabyte GTX660 to EVGA GTX980 on Cyber Monday, and I was also thinking of upgrading my CPU (see title) since there will probably be sales. I know there are better CPUs for the same price, but they are newer ones that requires LGA-1150 sockets (I have 1155).
But my question is, would it really be worth it? How flagrant would the difference be?
Just in case:
- GPU upgrade: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487079
- current CPU: http://ark.intel.com/products/69114/Intel-Core-i5-3350P-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_30-GHz
- CPU upgrade: http://ark.intel.com/products/65523
-RAM: Gigabyte 8GB
-Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B75M-HD3
Thank you.
