Cpu Upgrade, from i5 to i7. Laptop.

Hi, u have a HP Star Wars, it s a laptop. I have a i5-6200 cpu, and i wanna change it in a i7. Is this possible?

oftentimes laptop processors are soldered to the motherboard. You provided too few details to be able to tell what your specific situation may be.

Doesn't support quad core i7, just dual core i7 which is way too similar to yours, you won't get much out of it.

Cpu is BGA so its not upgradable.
