cpu upgrade I5 4460 or I7 4790

Hello there i need some help for choosing a processor for gaming to replace my i3 4150 but i do not know which one should i get and is i7 worth the money.

Here is my crappy spec:
-Asus H81M-K socket 1150 motherboard
-Intel i3 4150
-Coolermaster 550 watt PSU
-Nvidia GTX 960 2gb graphics card
-x2 4gb corsair vengence ddr3

Ps: I do not want to upgrade to skylake thank you
