Is it worth for me to upgrade my i7 3770k to i7 7700k ? Doing so I would have to get a new motherboard, and new ram. Is it worth the difference ??

Solution
If you want it go for it.
Despite people oppositions, The Intel i7 7700K uses newer tech to collaborate with the newer motherboard to have the best possible performance. If you upgrading from something around Gen 3 you can upgrade if no longer satisfy with that cpu.
If the 6700K didn't tempt you than I wouldn't bother with the 7700K either as the performance difference was pretty minimal. However their are advances in the chipset that may or may not be worthwhile. I would look at the difference between the current chipset you are running on your motherboard and what the new Z270 chipset offers.

The motherboard is so old the BIOS is terrible. I am not even able to overclock my CPU. I was looking into the new motherboards because the m.2 drives. They seem to be really fast and having two slots would mean i could always add another one in the future with huge speeds between them.

Well if OC is not an option than you are definitely performance wise being left behind. It may be a good time to upgrade but it might be worth waiting for AMD Ryzen to come out to see what team Red has to offer.

Have Crosair gtx100i which is just wasting there. Would be great to actually get a system that I can over clock. My cpu got 580 in CINEBENCH thats like half of what the 7700k is getting.

If you have the money than I personally would upgrade as the platform you are on is getting old. I would also sell the old motherboard/cpu/ram as the 3770k is no slouch of a CPU and you could recoup some of you upgrade costs.
