I have a Dell Inspiron 660 (2012 Version) It came with the Intel Core i3 2130 @ 3.40GHz when I bought it and I think its time for a upgrade, it currently runs great, it never freezes or anything but I installed a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 into it and I noticed it bottlenecks immensely. I need a i5 Quad-Core Intel Processor. My motherboard model 0XR1GT. I know that it has to be a Sandy Bridge CPU because thats the CPU Chipset on the mother board. The problem is I have no idea which one of the 2nd Gen Intel CPU'S will work on it... (Yes I realize that some are discontinued) Please Help!!

Sidenote: My PC runs games great but I do notice it can do so much more and its being held back by the lack of cores, I really don't care about the new processors... Just need more cores!! (I also have a 500W PSU)

Please Please Please Help!!!!

Just checked, and its a B75 mobo, so it should support any SB cpu, even an i7 2700k (just without any overclocking ability)
Be aware that your 300W psu may not be able to cope with the GTX 660 over the long term, though I did run a phenom 9550 and a Radeon 5850 off a 300w psu for 2 years a while back, so it may cope.

Thanks so much! By the way I failed to mention that I upgraded my PSU to a 500W! so no worries there lol! But thanks so so so much! So just to be clear I can choose from ANY Sandy Bridge CPU?

You should be able to, just dont touch the k series, you wont be able to oc so they are not worth the extra money.
Just be aware the the SB line is discontinued, so you may have trouble finding any.

Thank you so much! I will order one instead of going to a store or anything! Thanks so much for the help and support!
