Hey guys, I have a budget project I started a few weeks ago & im looking to upgrade the CPU first . Was hoping someone could give me a few suggestions. Trying to keep it around 100 bucks used , lower the better. Moneys a little tight so I’m just trying to slowly upgrade. Hopefully a new cpu can give me a decent boost. Thanks in advance guys

Current specs
Gigabyte GA h67n itx board

Intel i3 3225 1155 socket

8gb Ram
256gb ssd

It's really hard to find cheap parts for outdated hardware, for some odd reason Socket LGA1155 CPUs are overpriced. I'll give you 2 links that could help you find a better CPU, the first link is for a list of all LGA1155 CPUs and the second link is a website that allows you to compare the performance of CPUs. So all you have to do is find a cheap CPU that uses the LGA1155 Socket and is better than your last one. Pay no mind to the rices that are listed on the website, those aren't completely accurate, they're more like a ball park.

And here's a store link to one of the CPUs that is better than your current one:
