CPU Upgrade on Existing Motherboard

I'd like to upgrade my CPU without having to upgrade my Motherboard.

I have an ASRock - FM2A68M-DG3+

and

an AMD A6-7400k ( FM2+ (906) )

And I'd like to upgrade to a Intel Core i7-7740X (or similar Intel i7 that is compatible) to the same mother board?

I'm afraid your motherboard only supports FM2/FM2+ CPU's.
It is not compatible with any Intel CPU. You have to look for a similar AMD variant.
