Been using this site for answers loads in the past, finnaly made an account and here is my first post, yay!
Anyway down to business my current spec is as follows;
Amd 8350 no overclock
Asus m5a78l-m
Asus 2bg gtx 770
8gb kingston hyperx ram
1tb hdd
750w antec.
Im upgrading my cpu soon and have a bit of a dilemma because I already have the msi g45 z87 mobo ready to go in but im stuck with the cpu, I was planning on a 4670 which would be fine but now the devils canyon has come out and the 4690 which is better and cheaper than the 4670 with one problem... I bought my msi mobo before it had come out... so am stuck with pay extra and get 4670... or maybe have to either flash my mobo and update is like that somehow... which I have no idea how to do OR buy a cheap intel cpu with a 1150 socket and update the mobk that way which I dont want to do because that sucks...I heard there is a chance putting the new 4690 in could have a chance of working without an update but I dont think its worth the risk... can someone shed some light on this OR is there a different cpu all together I should get which is better suited than them two which has a 1150 socket.
ps I play alot of games so thats the main use. Oh and only 1080p so nk 4k or anything crazy like that.
