My current pc is FX 6300, 8gb of ram with a GTX 1050TI.

My question is, would I be better off buying a Ryzen 1600 with a B350 motherboard, *gb of DDR4 3200 ram or upgrade my video card to a 1060 6Gb. I cant afford to do both and with the price of video cards through the roof I just dont know. Also would I see much of a performance boost either way?

Solution
Basically going - from Fx 6300 to Ryzen 1600 = 75% jump in performance, not mentioning the platform upgrade
- From 1050ti to 1060 6GB = 80% jump in performance.
Fx 6300 might bottleneck the 1060 6GB in certain games, but platform would be hard sell later (already is lol)
I would advise upgrading to the newer platform Ryzen 1600 + B350+ DDR4 3200, since CPU prices are low compared to GPUs ones (although started dropping), you can always upgrade your GPU 1050ti to a 1060 or better later depending on the pricees and your performance needs.
