I want to upgrade my system to an intel system and so far I've come to 2 options.
Going to an E3-1231 v3 Xeon cpu or going to a skylake i5 (when it releases).
Though I don't know enough about xeons and skylake is still vague. From what I've heard skylake doesn't support standard DDR 3 ram, only DDR3L for notebooks and DDR4 for desktops. I really wouldn't want to upgrade my ram aswell. I don't know where to go and I would like some advice. My main usage is gaming so I want a high IPC cpu. I don't know which mobo to take with the xeon, though I want a cheaper one. I think that I am going to upgrade somewhere in 2H 2015.
My build right now is: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Z28ZK8
