CPU Upgrade suggestions

My current Setup:
B85-HD3
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
Memory 16GB ram DDR3
GTX 1060 6GB
128GB ssd
550W PSU

My pc suffers 100% usage while playing some games, which cpu should i get?

i7 4790 would be a decent upgrade. Would also give you a bit of headroom for CPU resources with 4c/8 threads. Providing you can get it cheap.

After that, consider selling the system, and putting some money to a new base.

i7 4790, or even 4790k (although the latter cannot be OC'ed on your board, it is still clocked higher than regular 4790).

Well, it really depends on available budget. For example, for your CPU, mobo and ram, you might get $150. Keep the SSD, GTX1060 and the 550w PSU (providing it's a good one! - if not sell it too). Then put another $200 to a base system. Something like this : https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GVvPHN

Thank you for your answer, i would just like to know one thing, Is DDR3 much of a difference than DDR4? Is it like gonna help dramatically?
