Hi

It’s actually CPU & GPU upgrade time. My primary activity is Flight Simulation and the new Flight Simulator 2020, P3D, and X-Plane are being pushed to their limits. Unfortunately, I have not had time to properly review the new CPU’s. I am considering these two new CPU’s.

  1. $768 - Intel Core i9-9940X Skylake X 14 Core
  2. $849 - Intel Core i10-10940X Cascade Lake 14 Core

It’s not a well optimized game yet. There are a lot of reviews on the web now about performance.

A high clocked 10600k would do as well as the 10900k. It’s not how many cores with MS2020, it’s how fast you can get four cores to go.

Thanks. Its not just Flight Simulator 2020. Its X-Plane 11.5 and Prepare 3D v5 that does use DX12. So right now, I am in the middle ground depending upon the app being used. I want to place myself in position to run these on ULTRA and not think twice.
