I here recently rebuilt my system and reused my Phenom II 1055T for my new build. So since taxes will be back within the next month or so and I am wanting to to know what CPU would be the best for my current build. The 6 core or the 8 core. Also I do a lot of gaming, school work, movie watching etc. on the PC. I will also be adding a Sound Blaster recon3D sound card and a Samsung 840 Series 250Gig SSD at the same time. So would a 6 Core be enough or should I spend the extra 30 bucks and get the 8320. Thanks.

for your listed uses, fx 6300 will suffice, both are bang for buck in their respective price ranges. it also depends on which gpu you plan to pair the cpu with.

if mid to high range single card set up, 6300 will be all you'd need. you want to cfx 7970's, then go for 8320.

Yea this^ if your Thinking about crossfire go for the 8320. If not the 6300 is a fine gaming cpu
