CPU Upgrade to Intel motherboard

I have an old computer with a Mini-ITX motherboard.
an Intel DH67CF. I have installed the latest bios.

It has an i3-3220T CPU.

I would like to upgrade this CPU.

On Intel’s web site it lists the compatible CPU’s for this board.
It lists the i7-3770S and the i5-3570S.

But I found an i7-3770 and an i5-3570 on amazon, without the S.
Can I use one of these cpu’s without the S on the end.
What will happen if I put in a CPU without the S?

Couldn't see as much as I wanted in the information from Intel's site...

From the top of my head I believe the 'S' models of CPUs tend to be lower power drawing and lower TDP. I would hazard a guess that the motherboard isn't designed for the power draw of the standard non-S CPUs you mention.

Perhaps someone could confirm.

S-lower performance...lower power draw

also...the "S"s I've seen have lower clock speed than the "non S"

This combo costs 365$ and you get a 6 cores 12 threads CPU + a motherboard with all new kinds of new 2018 features + 16 GB of DDR 4 RAM in 3000MHz speed comper to what will only cost you to buy that Intel CPU you want which is 4 cores and 8 threads (not to mention 6 years old now) and you have a very old motherboard that doesn't offer you much in the features department and you will be upgrading from ddr3 to ddr4 that is way faster at 3000Mhz....
With the part above you can see your PC running for at least 5 more years, but with the Intel CPU I guess you will need an upgrade in a year or so... and spend more money on it.
