Question Cpu Upgrade, worth it?

Wondering if an upgrade from 12100f to 13400f worth it? (Im with a 3060ti)
Anybody have try the similar upgrade?

Make and model of your motherboard and the rams paired with said motherboard at this moment of time? I'd look into a regular i5, one that's not a F suffix processor since the iGPU does come in handy when you need to troubleshoot your platform in the event the discrete GPU is down for the count.

Not worth it. That CPU is good enough and will last you a couple of years. Enjoy.

4P cores to 6P cores and 4E cores, if you are doing more than gaming it might be worth it.

Even for gaming, it should be an improvement. At a minimum, the E-cores can handle background windows, tasks, leaving the P cores for your gaming. It should help your .1% lows at the very least, so less stuttering should occur.

Worth is something only YOU can determine.
If you play multiplayer games with many participants, the extra threads would make it a worthwhile upgrade.
Otherwise probably no.

4 x 8gb vengeance 3200 16cl
Using 2 monitors, main at 1440p
And a second one 1080p for videos/browsing or other things while gaming at the main.

In that case, I think it sounds like a good upgrade. I would think you'd have a smoother experience with both gaming and background tasks with a 13400F.
