To answer your original question, do you think your 8150 is holding your system back? What are the rest of your components? It's not a bad chip. It's plenty capable of handling new games.
If you feel you need more performance-
1. Get a good after market cooler and overclock. If that's not good enough-
2. Get a 8350. If that isn't good enough. Repeat step one with the 8350. If that doesn't work-

If I had a 8150, and I wanted to upgrade, I would start trying to sell my 8150 while being on the lookout for deals on the 8350. I know that it drops to $175ish all the time. I also know that I could get AT least $120 for my used 8150, and possibly up to $150 for it.
So total projected price for upgrade would be $20-60

If you can find a buyer for the 8150, you could pick up an 8320 cheap enough. You don't necessarily have to, but it is an option to consider if you really feel the need to get a new CPU.

You don't need that much for just a single card. This 650w Rosewill Capstone PSU is a really good deal right now. Rosewill Capstones are Gold rated and top notch. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00822BTLC/?tag=pcpapi-20

see if you are getting bottlenecks on your cpu, if yes, upgrade, if not don't...dont abuse the meaning of bottlenecking though, do you have slow gameplay, because of your cpu? 8350 is much stronger than 8150, but if you are not facing stuttering in games, because of cpu, I see no reason to upgrade
