Cpu upgrade

As we all know tax time is here, my 3rd yearly upgrade month As you see the specs below im looking for a new cpu, In a way i want to steer into intel chipsets but seem to never do. I feel like its time to put this chip to rest and upgrade now when i can finanically what whould be my best upgrade option? 450$ max

for a gaming buld? The i5-3570k $220 on Newegg and maybe the MSI z77 thunderbolt or asrock z77 extreme6 for a motherboard. Both are under $200
