Hello guys,

I'm planning on buying a new CPU.

I got now the AMD phenom ii x6 1090t
And i'm thinking of upgrading it to an amd fx 8350.

Would the FPS greatly increase ingame or shoud i just stay with the phenom?

Just overclock the Phenom II X6 1090t

Take a look at these games:

If you overclock your current processor you can close the gap between the 1090t and the FX-8350.

I forgot to say my cpu is already overclocked to 4ghz..

And when i'm playing Skyrim my fps sometimes drops to around 30 with a radeon hd 7950... And a friend of mine has a fx8120 and he is never getting below 40-50 and he got a radeon hd 7850.. so that's why i thought maby a cpu upgrade will do it?

Are you running anything in the background hogging resources? How much RAM do you have?

Regardless, an FX-8350 is not worth it considering your current processor. Do not forget your friend may be playing at a lower resolution and may not have all the eye candy turned up.

I have 8gb ram, and my friend have all the eye candy on..
