Cpu upgrade

Hello, I have a Toshiba Equium A100-338 laptop with a T5200 cpu. Is it possible to upgrade and if so what size and make is compatable. Thanks

Its possible, but highly not recommended to fiddle with a laptop processor. Too much work

Within ur 5000 series, the T5300 (2M Cache, 1.73 GHz, 533 MHz FSB) looks highly compatible with ur mobo, but its not worth upgrading to.
However, if u find that ur mobo supports chips with a 666MHz FSB, then there a whole lotta chips u can upgrade to

Soldered??? *** i never knew that!!!
I though they were just socket based like normal desktop/server chips!!

No, it is not soldered, same as usual socket on motherboard.
