CPU Upgrade

Hi i have an acer 5536 i've upgraded my ram maxxed out at 8GB,
Also maxxed my HDD to 1TB, i have 2 processors the athlon 2.5ghz & the turion 2.2 ghz, im wondering if there is a 3ghz processor available or a quad core for this motherboard?

If your acer works well, and it still has some warranty, I wouldn't touch the cpu. Even if it posts, it may overheat unless you can upgrade the cpu heatsink and find one with the correct connector to the mainboard. And even a 3 ghz cpu will downclock with amd's energy saving software to increase the time between charges.
