Question CPU upgrade

Hi.
I just wanted to ask if it is worth it for me to upgrade to a R5 2600 from a I5 7600 non-k

My specs:
Rtx2060
16gb ddr4 3000mhz
Ssd 500gb
Seasonic focus plus 550w
I5 7600nonk
B250g gaming mobo

I know that my cpu is bottlenecking my gpu but wouldnt the ryzen 5 2600 too?

Kiiiiiiind of. The extra threads will be a good boost in performance for you, but the single threaded performance is a very small downgrade. Older games that use fewer threads will run a bit slower (maybe 3%-5% slower... so really not noticeable), but newer games that can take advantage of the extra threads will really unleash the RTX 2060. Games like Battlefield V will really love the Ryzen CPU much more than your older i5.

I am playing only new games sooo...
Or maybe ill wait for the ryzen 3gen
