Hey,

Looking for any recommendations with regards to upgrading my CPU. Specs are below :)

CPU - 3.60 gigahertz AMD A10-7860K Radeon R7, 12 Compute Cores 4C+8G
GPU - Radeon RX 580 8GB
Motherboard - Zillion A68F2AL2
RAM - DDR3 16GB (x2-8GB)

PSU - Thermaltake 650W

Others are much better at this but as a tentative suggestion:

EDIT:
It will be a night and day difference for the vast majority of games. (I went from an Athlon x4 760k to a Ryzen 5 1600.)

With your budget you can do i5 or mid Ryzen.

The i5 has more powerful cores, but the Ryzen has more of them. So to make the decision as to whats best for you then the question is can your favourite games utilize all Ryzen cores?
