I have a Gigabyte GA-Z77X- D3H Motherboard and used https://www.gigabyte.com/Ajax/Suppo...el Socket 1155&Chipest=Intel Z77&Type=Chipest to check for CPU upgrade possibilities, but I don't know what the "FA" or "FBb " means. Can anyone please explain?

Pretty much any CPU that board will support will require the FA BIOS...the FBb BIOS appears to be for only 3 specific Pentium CPUs. If you're not sure which BIOS your motherboard is currently running you can download a free app like CPU-Z and it will give you the info.
