Hello, could you help me with CPU upgrade?
My current pc:
I5 6600k
MSI Z170A Gaming M3
Dark Rock Pro 4
MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X
Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000 Mhz
Corsair RM750x
BeQuiet Dark Base Pro 900 rev2
I'm playing mainly Forza Horizon 5, Assetto Corsa and sometimes Battlefield/CS/LoL or small indie games.
In the future I want to buy VR (oculus quest) , my actual PC can handle with VR pretty good but only in singleplayer games like Assetto Corsa, ETS2/ATS but regarding multiplayer or singleplayer race with 24 bots I'm getting low performance and warning CPU >99%. With new games it happens to stutter a lot, Battlefield 1 was not playable because of stuttering.
I'm thinking about i5 12600k or i7 10/11700k.
My budget is ~2500PLN = ~550 euro
For example in my country 12600k cost ~320 euro and Z690 costs 200 euro.
Also who makes best motherboards now? I have MSI for 5 years I believe and it was okay.
