[SOLVED] CPU Usage 100%

I have been noticing that when playing Fortnite my cpu is constantly at 100% usage, even if I lower the settings. This doesn't result in dropped fps it just makes my 144hz monitor feel like 60hz. I know that sounds weird but is my cpu supposed to be at 100%

CPU- i3-8100
GPU - 1060 3gb

100% usage is fine as long as you aren’t getting poor fps or temperature is hot. Try running task manager and see what the utilization is.

Thanks man, I think it turns out that my cpu was never the problem, there seems to be a problem where when you have two monitors in which one is 144hz and the other is 60hz when you watch videos on the 60hz monitor it makes your 144hz monitor feel like 60hz.
