Question CPU Usage high playing fortnite

Hello,

So as the title states my CPU usage is MUCH higher than my GPU usage while playing fortnite. According to Xbox Game Bar performance my CPU is anywhere from 70-90% while my GPU is sitting at 20%. Also the game bar stats say my CPU is at 3.6 Ghz but in the MSI Dragon Center app it says my CPU is at 4.7 Ghz

My specs are i7 9700k and an RTX 2070 Super. I am getting pretty bad fps drops since the latest game update. I have my fps set to 237 and play on low settings and always get that stable fps until now. Sometimes FPS is dipping down to 100 or below.

Is there something I can do here? Thank you in advance.

check cpu temp?
check to make sure monitor is connect to the gpu and not the mobo?
malware scan?
ram/hdd/sdd usage?

Yeah CPU temp isn't high its at 37 C. Monitor is connected to the GPU using displayport cable, RAM usage is 47% and my SDD is like 200gb out of 500. My HDD isn't used except for as a clip folder and documents folder

what Ghz it is running during the game?

As you can see from the photo frames drop to 113 and the xbox game bar cpu ghz does not match the msi dragon center info but temps look fine
