CPU usage High with Fortnite

My cpu usage for fortnite is in the 80's which makes my cpu usage overall 100. I play on epic view distance, shadows off, anti aliasing epic, textures epic, effects, epic, post processing epic. I play on 144 fps with a 60hz monitor 1920 by 1080 16:9. I have a i5 6500 cpu and a gtx 1060 6gb armor graphics card. Is this because the amount of threads on my cpu? I play on 144 fps because it feels smooth unlike capping it at 60. And I play on windowed fullscreen.

As long as your CPU isn't overheating there isn't a problem.

more threads would probably have lower usage percentages, at least on some cores.

When It constantly keeps hitting 100% on cpu usage overall it keeps making my game have lag spikes which messes me up sometimes. Will getting a cpu with more cores help?
