[SOLVED] Cpu usage spikes

Hey guys , I’ve been having a problem with assassins creed odyssey, I read it’s a heavy cpu game. I have an i9-9900k. And it spikes 80% to 100% the temps go from 70 to75 degrees Celsius. I’ve tried everything. I don’t know what to do. Any help will help. Thank you!

nothing wrong with 70-75C temps for a heavy gaming load...

Do you have other tasks running, such as a streaming service?

And, most importantly, are your frame rates seemingly affected, or, are you strictly trying to fix a case of '100% CPU usage must be bad'? (Although I'd expect CPU usage to be higher perhaps when using a very good GPU and trying to get max frame rates (100/144 Hz?) at 1080P...

Try running higher detail/max textures, etc. to shift some of the load to the GPU...

No thats without the streaming app. I’m trying to fix the usage problem. I have no other task open. I have a RTX 2070. And I have the setting to the max. That’s what’s confusing. It’s not shifting to the gpu

And I have the setting to the max.

Probably this is the reason for high usage.
