Hi Please help this computer is my pride and joy.
I loaded up my pc this morning and it hasn't been right I cannot do anything on it. Only basic very small tasks like opening chrome even that lags sometimes. I cannot play any games. When I use the Xbox game bars feature where you can see all your usage for components my CPU is constantly at 3ghz I don't know if this is normal and every few minutes it spikes to 100% usage then slowly declines. Thank you for reading. Kind Regards Thank you to anyone that can help me it is much appreciated.
The pc worked fine brilliant frames don't really understand what has happened. I didn't do an update before it happened but I am up to date on my drivers for my graphics card but not sure how to check CPU. Thanks!

Ben

Right click on your taskbar and open up "task manager" (if you're on windows 11, right click on the windows icon in the middle of your taskbar). If you've never opened task manager before then it will by default open in small preview mode, there should be a button on the bottom of the window to expand the details if that is the case. Once expanded, you'll see a list of apps and how much resources they are using. Identify which application is utilizing your CPU so much and let us know.
