[SOLVED] cpu usage

I have a ryzen 3 1200 and a rx 570 but when i play fortnite i have massive frame drops if i go to my task manager and look at my usage my GPU is at 50% or less while my CPU is at anywhere from 80% to 99%
is my cpu defective or does the 1200 just [bad]?
Can i fix this or do i need to get a new CPU?

Have you checked your power settings and set it to high performance maybe its on balance?

Change it to the high performance and see if the cpu use all the power!

The Ryzen 3 1200 is not the greatest cpu, but overclocked and paired with a decent set of ram it isnt bad. I had infrequent frame drops in fortnite with mine when i paired it with a GTX 1050.

I haven't benched it with my 580.
