I have a ASUS A7V333 MOBO. Currently Running a XP 1700.

I have purchased a XP 2500. According to ASUS homeage I can run the CPU if I have the latest bios update which I do.

Problem is my lowest voltage setting is 1.70. The XP 2500 according to AMD's homepage wants a 1.65 setting.

Given that it is just a .05 difference.

Anyone here think I will have any major problems?

Thanks

If I were you I would upgrade to the nForce2 series motherboard. The answer to your question is no there won't be any problem, but running a great CPU on a crappy motherboard. I recommend that you upgrade to nForce2 then if you use 1.7Vcore you could run the CPU at 3200+ speeds.

If you plan on overclocking, get a new mobo. If not, stick with what you have (1.7v is fine).
