Hi everyone,

I recently finished a custom loop and right before I started leak testing I noticed the CPU block was sitting at an angle:

I reattached the backplate and thumb screws which were uneven, but now they're sitting too low so the block makes contact with the CPU before the screws.
Even if I try to screw it down gradually with even pressure on all, it still sits at an angle and doesn't make contact with the thumb screws.

I've double checked that I'm using the correct screws, the back plate is the correct way around, and the CPU is seated properly.

Thanks in advance for all the advice.

Does the block get stuck on a nearby capacitor or something close to the CPU socket? This has actually been an issue on some blocks and motherboards.

I am assuming you're also using the tension screws between the thumbscrews and the block plate?
