Question Cpu won't turbo, ram wont go to base speed

MB:ASUS B250G
CPU: I7-6700K
RAM:gskill aegis 8gbx2 2666mhz
Model:F4-2666C19S-16GIS

Turbo problem:
Cpu is at 55C when maxed out and it wont go to 4.2ghz from 4ghz.
Tried turning off speedstep and nothing.

Ram speed problem:
Its stuck at 2133mhz and wont boot if i set it to anything higher.
On the asus website it says that the mb supports 2400mhz but that doesnt work either.
Tried changing timings to the ones on gskill's website (higher than the auto setting) and still nothing.

Can anyone help?

What does single core boost do exactly? From the name of it it doesnt sound very helpfull.

Single core boost is the maximum core clock with one core being utilized. When two or more cores are utilzed, the overall boost clock for the active amount of cores will be lower
