CPU-Z memory data c4 or c5

I have o/c my system using wusy's guide to 333 mobo and 3.0 ghz cpu.

Have the memory freq set in the bios to ddr2 -833
and the performance mode set to 'standard'

When I read data from CPU-z it shows:

FSB😀ram 4:5
'spd' = 4 4 4 12 22 2T
'memory' = 5 6 6 18 21

I know that my memory is ddr2 800 c4

How do I get the bios to recognize my memory as c4 not c5?

the spd tells me that my memory is capable of c4 timings

How do I get the memory settings in the bios on my mobo set to c4 rather than c5? I could not find any settings to do this??

Sort of. It contains pre-set, conservative combinations of memory bus speed (e.g. DDR2-667) with timings that will work AT THAT SPEED under standard voltage. You need to also find the speed associated with those timings. I'd suggest downloading and running PC Wizard 2006.

For non-SPD settings, such as (often) advertised speeds/timings, in addition to the speed (DDR2-xxx) and timings (CLx etc), you need to know the VOLTAGE at which that speed and timing were tested/guaranteed. This may be in the documentation that came with the memory, but most likely is just at the manufacturer's website.

In the BIOS. Almost all MBs should allow you to change these settings, but it varies from MB to MB.
