CPU-Z says that I use only x8 pci-e on my gpu

Hello! First of all I'm not english native so sorry if I'm describing something wrong. The thing is that I installed cpu-z on my pc and it says that i use only pci-e x8 on my motherboard. My mobo is Intel DH77EB and processor is Xeon E3-1230 v2, and as I looked up in the internet they both support pci-e 3.0 x16. The GPU that i use is msi rx 550 4gb oc. Is there any way to fix that or my pci port is just damaged? I read that there is no diffrence between x8 and x16 performance but I want to fix that issue anyway. I posted same question on other forum don't hate me i just want to get help

Do you see the blue ? where it says 3.0 X 8 click on that and see if it changes to X16.
