I have had a go at over-clocking my CPU to give it a bit more life, but Windows 10 refuses to believe that i have done anything

Task manager s shows a constant 2.9Ghz
Cpu-Z shows a constant 3.479Ghz

i'm not sure what to believe as even when i maxed out my CPU usage it tops out at 2.9Ghz
Image below, whitch one is correct and how do i make Task manager use/show the full 3.4Ghz?

Solution
Task Manager is only accurate for me when the CPU is at stock speed. It will never show accurately, and you don't need to worry about it. It wasn't really designed to be a CPU speed monitor.

You should trust CPU-Z and other monitoring programs.
I havd the issue while overclocking a FX4350 from 4.20 to 4.50
Win10 would still show same speed 4.20
On the bios I disable cool & quiet and also cpu unlock and works now.
Hope it help someone else.
