Hello every body
I wanted to know that whats the meaning of "2450M" in CPU characteristic?
when we say i5-2450M
and whats is M?
I haven't recieved any good answer yet

M means mobile.

The i5-2450M is:
A dual core with 4 threads (Hyperthreading)
Sandybridge
32nm

M means that it's a mobile unit - something that's been neutered for the sake of power and heat concerns.

For CPUs, you can usually presume about a third of the performance of a normal counterpart - they have half the cores and lower clock speeds.

For GPUs, you can presume drastically lower performance than normal video cards, as mobile GPUs are built on entirely different architecture.
