my main question is how much long can it last?
It can last minutes or decades.

You can't know the answer with any accuracy.

CPUs very rarely fail for ANY reason, but it does happen.

If it fails in 2 weeks, maybe the seller will give you a refund. Maybe not. It's up to you to find out. We have NO idea about the seller. There is always a risk when buying used. You accept the risk or buy new only.

Modern processors can run hot.
Up to 100c. for Intel, somewhat less, about 85c. for ryzen.
They are designed to do so for maximum performance.
A cpu will monitor it's own temperature and if it gets too hot, it will slow down or shut off to protect itself.
That is not a defect, that is how it is designed.

Many apparently defective processors are really user caused motherboard and mounting errors.

A processor will have a 3 year warranty.
The manufacturer knows the manufacture date from the batch number.
They add in 90 days and do not require proof of purchase if you return it for a RMA.
