Could someone provide me some information about the CPU_FAN sensor, because, a have 1 mobo MSI ECO H110, and at 3 days ago started to tell the message CPU_FAN error. When i checked the CPU_FAN, is working but doesnt show it anymore on HWiNFO64. The temps are good, normal, i plug another fan to the 4-pin receiver(CPU_FAN), it works, but still saying the error. I really dont know if the sensor in the mobo is damaged or is the CPU_FAN, the stock one from intel, that is damaged.
In the bios i can turn off the CPU_FAN message but i want to know where is the problem.
Btw, in my bios I cant control the threshold of the fans.
Can anyone help me please,
Thx in advance,

Solution
It is probably the fan, not reporting the RPM info. This is a good opportunity to upgrade to an aftermarket cooler and get a quieter PC.
Hi Kanewolf,

Thx for your reply. You're right my firend, i check with another intel stock fan, from other kind of socket, very quick, and i saw in the bios the CPU rotation. My affraid was if the problem was from the mobo, but fortunaly, no.
Thx one more time, and see you next time,
Hugz,
