Happy New Year everybody!

I've bought hardware for a new year, but I can not start it. After I install CPU, Power Supply and RAM into MOBO, and after try to turn on the computer - the red CPU_LED light flases for a second, and computer goes to reboot in about 5 seconds.

-all fans are working fine
-the green flash on the MOBO is working
-8pin & 24pin power supplies are connected well
-same situation both in ATX and without in (while MOBO is lying on the table)
-i've done my best while connection RAM - either it was connected in all blue slots, or it was connected just in 1 slot (D1), or it was 4 slots on one side, etc
-all CPU pins are well done, no damaging

the result is one - computer instantly reboots.

i've tried to upgrade BIOS to the last version - no effect ( http://event.asus.com/2012/mb/USB_BIOS_Flashback_GUIDE/ )
after that i've tried to restore bios defaults (cmos reset) - no effect after that at all

All hardware is brand new.
MOBO: ASUS P9X79 (RTL) LGA2011 <X79> 3xPCI-E+GbLAN+1394 SATA RAID ATX8DDR-III
CPU: CPU Intel Core i7-3820 3.6 GHz/4core/1+10Mb/130 W/LGA2011
RAM: Corsair XMS3 <CMX16GX3M4A1600C9> DDR-III DIMM 16Gb KIT 4*4Gb <PC3-12800>
PS: Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus <RS-600-PCAR> 600W ATX (24+2x4+2x6/8pin)

Just tried do insert one DDR3 memory:

HYUNDAI / HYNIX DDR-III DIMM 2Gb < PC3-10600>

in different slots (tried all 8 slots) - nothing changed... same boot problem, CPU_LED red flash and restarts in 5 seconds

Sounds like something is damaged. Remove the CPU and check the pins to see if any are bent. If not, prepare an RMA

Check the pins where the memory goes. One of them may be bent or have crud on them preventing them from connecting.

I've had the SAME EXACT problem (Asus P9X79 Deluxe) ... been thourgh 5 RMA's so far ant the problem STILL occur's.

I've also RMA's all the componets to rule them out.

I think it's a flawed board all together! If I can get my $ back, I'll be switching brands permanetely.
