CPUrunning at 100%

Assassins Creed Orgins uses 100%25 of my CPU and 60ish Percent of my
CPU i5 4690k @3.5 GHz
Ram 2 4gb Sticks 8gbs total
GPU Geforce GTX 960 2GB
I think my cpu is bottlenecking is there some way to optimize it so my cpu does not work as hard%3F I understand its a demanding game and their is probably not much I can do but if someone has a trick to make my cpu work a lil less Im all ears.

Also I plan to get a new computer in a few months but is this hurting the parts to where it could ruin the computer in a short period of time?

Buy a better CPU, thats the only way to get rid of a CPU bottleneck, A bottlneck will not ruin any parts, so don't worry about component damage

If you have a Z97 motherboard with good cpu cooling and PSU you should be able to overclock your cpu and get a decent performance boost.

AC is a demanding game because it´s bad designed.

get a better GPU, your CPU is fine for most games around

have a look if your CPU is throttling because of too high temperature

run 3dmark (it´s for free) and click after the benchmark on compare result online. post the address from your upcoming browser

100% is normal for this game and if the cpu is cooled fine, nothing will be damaged. if it wouldn´t be cooled well the cpu would downclock or shutdown to prevent damage. The CPU usually will last longer than all other parts in your PC
