CPUS with large amounts of Cache

Hello all,

I am currently evaluating CPUs for a new computer build. I am currently building a computer to run some simulations. The simulation program that I will be running benefits more so from large amounts of cache. More so then an increase of processor count.

So, I was wondering, what processors are available with the highest amounts of cache for both server and desktops (AMD and Intel).

Are there any budget limitations? Do you need large amounts of L1/L2/L3 cache? Intel Xeon 1545Mv5/1575Mv5 (mobile) offers 128MB of L4 cache (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skylake_(microarchitecture)#Server_processors)

Or Xeon Platinum 8176 ($8790) offers 38.5MB of L3 cache. Just google it, or find on Wikipedia.

Epyc 7351P ($750, according to Wikipedia) offers 64MB of L3 cache.
