OK I have a pair of Patriot PC4000 dual channel 1GB x 2 In CPU-Z It shows that one stick is 200Mhz 2.5-3-3-7 as set in bios and the other is 250 Mhz at 3-4-4-8. Have run memtest, all checks out.RMAed ram new ram is the same?Shouldnt they be exactly the same?

RAM manufacturers make changes to their products as often as weekly, often keeping the same part numbers.
Also, make sure you're looking at the current settings in CPU-Z, not the SPD settings, if you want to know what speed/latency the RAM is actually running at.

Your ram is running the same!

The setting is the same for both chips.
It shows you sdp settings for different frequencies.

Mondoman Thank you VERY much! That explains all that I didnt understand about this SPD thing. Thanks for your patiance with me! But no one was fully explaining it like you did from that previous post(which ROCKS).Agian Thanks man!
